A Weekend Full of Markets - City Market, Vintage Market and North End Market taking place this weekend

ROCKFORD, IL –
It’s a weekend of market hopping! The Rockford City Market continues this Friday, July 14, 2017 with local food, brews, food, music, and shopping. Saturday, July 15, 2017, the Rockford Vintage Market will be at the City Market Pavilion from 9:00am - 3:00pm featuring
vendors with vintage, re-purposed, and antique goods. The North End City Market will be at the southeast corner of Main and Auburn on Saturday, 9:00am – 1:00pm with local produce and artisan goods. All three will offer free admission, live music, delicious food and great vendors!

Music
Main Stage: Three Good Men, fun informal, acoustic songs you’ll love, 4:30pm – 8:00pm
Acoustic Stage: Kristin Scholz, 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Activities
Jackson Charter School and Northern Illinois Food Bank will be offering free children’s activities.

Entrance Gate Staff
Boylan Catholic High School will have members of the Boylan High School Football Program welcoming guests at the gates.

Arts Council Booth
Kyle McDonald will be at the booth with acrylic paintings and mixed media prints.

Rockford City Market takes place every Friday from May 19 through September 29 along Water Street between State and Jefferson Streets in downtown Rockford. The market runs from 3:30 – 8:30 p.m. before Labor Day and 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. after Labor Day. Rockford City Market was founded and is managed by the Rock River Development Partnership and operates with infrastructure support from the City of Rockford and marketing from the Rockford Area Convention & Visitor's Bureau.
