The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (RACVB) announces the addition of several new members to its Board of Directors and Charitable Foundation Board and new officers for the coming year. These appointments and elections underscore the RACVB's commitment to fostering collaboration and driving economic growth in the region.

Joining the RACVB Board of Directors are:

  • Duncan Geddes, Parks Chamber of Commerce
  • Gretchen Gilmore, Rockford Area Venues & Entertainment Authority
  • Angela Larson, Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce

These new members bring regional and tourism industry experience and a shared passion for enhancing the Rockford region's appeal as a premier destination for visitors.

In conjunction with these new appointments, the RACVB Board has announced its slate of officers for the upcoming year:

  • Chair: Tiana McCall, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity
  • Vice Chair: Geno Iafrate, Hard Rock Casino Rockford
  • Secretary: Darrell Snorek, LaMonica Beverages
  • Treasurer: Mick Gronewold, Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental
  • Immediate Past Chair: Carol Schuster, University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford

Additionally, the RACVB Foundation Board welcomes two new members:

  • Theresa Kegley, Movement Fitness
  • Leslie West, State Farm Insurance

In conjunction with these new appointments, the RACVB Foundation Board has announced its slate of officers for the upcoming year:

  • Chair: Carol Schuster, University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford
  • Vice Chair: Tiana McCall, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity
  • Secretary: Gina Caruana, Foresight Financial Group
  • Treasurer: Marco Lenis, Vocational Rehabilitation Management
  • Immediate Past Chair: Jennifer Furst, FurstStaffing
