Get the Most Out of Your Halloween Costume

Monday, October 15, 2018 10:00 AM by Elizabeth Miller

Halloween is the one night a year where kids (and even adults!) can dress up to be anything they way to be. I fondly remember my Halloween costumes as a kid including Snow White, Princess Jasmine, and a '50s girl in a poodle skirt. Tough Mudder was held in Rockford for the first time in 2016. Out of pure curiosity, I went to watch the event that first year and was completely entertained and mesmerized by all of the participants. So much so that I signed up for the next year. Gulp. Here are the 5 things I learned from participating in Tough Mudder in 2017.

Father’s Day is right around the corner and it’s time to celebrate dads! My dad has done a lot for me growing up…everything from helping me figure out what’s wrong with an appliance, squishing spiders when I’m too scared (even to this day!) and teaching me how to do things like drive a car (or motorcycle…thanks Dad!).

Tour de Roo 1 Year Anniversary

Wednesday, May 9, 2018 3:00 PM by Elizabeth Miller

It’s been one year since the RACVB team took our love for Beefaroo and created the Tour de Roo! That’s right. We mapped out all of the Beefaroo locations in the Rockford region and planned to visit all of them in one day. It’s crazy, I know…but we did it! In honor of its one-year anniversary, I’m going to give you the lowdown on what visiting all 7 Beefaroo locations in one day is like. (Spoiler alert: it’s epic.)
