We're breaking more records in the Rockford community and the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau team is thrilled to be a part of one that is so family-focused, filled with love and gathers friends and family members together at the holidays. Stroll on State, presented by Illinois Bank & trust, has become such a holiday tradition - and staple - in Rockford's beautiful downtown. This year, we hit attendance records of 75,000 people that joined in the fun. Wow! The droves of people that came out to celebrate really made a gigantic impact on the attractions at the event as well as the local shops and eateries. Shopping local, eating local, having fun locally are all crucial to the success of a community and certainly help to re-energize that momentum that brings us farther along in our transformation efforts! This is a very big THANK YOU, THANK YOU and another big THANK YOU to all the sponsors, volunteers, residents and visitors that enjoyed and celebrated with our team!

Remember, Stroll on State is the kick-off to a very Merry & Bright season in the Rockford region. There are several activities and events happening throughout the next few months like the Festival of Lights, Nicholas Conservatory's All Aglow Holiday Exhibit, Snow Park at Alpine Hills, the Rockford Symphony's Holiday Pops Concert at the Coronado Performing Arts Center, the Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition and many more fun things taking place.  Rockford truly is the place to be for winter fun!
