Community Fire & Drum Circle is a monthly summer series at Nature At The Confluence in South Beloit. All are welcome to gather for the purpose of joy, peace, and communal music-making. Drumming is optional- experiment with a provided instrument or stop by simply to enjoy the fire, listen to the music, and make a s’more. This is a free, family-friendly event and there is no registration. Drumming is led by local music teacher Dave Stocker. A regular drum circle participant said, “I felt the vibe and atmosphere and I feel the ancestors of this land are very happy… everything is as it should be!” Nature At The Confluence is located on ancestral lands of the Ho-Chunk and many other Indigenous groups.
