On December 1st local authors will be signing copies of their books at Kate's Pie Shop in Rockford. Other hosts are Digital Ninjas Media, Haunted Rockford and Tales of Wonder and Dread Publishing. A number of authors will have books available for purchase and will also sign books brought into the event while two others featured in one or more of the books will be on hand to sign those.

Terri Reid will be at the event selling and signing for the last two hours (4-6). She lives near Freeport, the home of the Mary O’Reilly Mystery Series, and loves a good ghost story.
Sarah Scharnweber's works include the horror novel "Inside Darkness" and short story collection "Suggestion 376." She writes from her home in Rockford, where she lives with her husband, daughter and two cats.

Diane Hill will be on hand signing copies of "Spooky Rockford," which includes one of her stories, and is currently working on a book about her life with Atypical Anorexia and Anorexia Nervosa.
Dessie R Voigt, is a Rockford native and cosmetologist. “A Night of Madness” (featured in Tales of Wonder and Dread's release "Life Blood") is her first published work. She previously edited and contributed to Dustin Urness’ second work, “The Killer Grins."
