Building upon our June lecture, which highlighted the early years of Anderson Japanese Gardens history, we look at the dynamic, creative, and productive period from 1991 until present. Beginning with construction of the Tea House in 1991, followed by the Spring Creek Partners Building, the Garden of Reflection, the Main Gate, Visitor Center, and the last major new construction project, the Pavilion in 2010, the “middle” and recent years have seen the Garden double in size and become a regional, national, and international attraction. Join Garden Curator Tim Gruner as he shares his experience and AJG archival images and conceptual sketches by Garden designer Hoichi Kurisu.
Reservations are encouraged.
