The League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford presents an art exhibition opening. The exhibit features “Heroes of American Women’s Right to Vote,” a seven-panel portrait of five suffragists and two others who were instrumental in the women’s struggle for the right to vote. The portraits were painted by Rockford artist and League member, Janie Wilson-Cook.

The exhibit will remain throughout the month of March.
