Come rain or come shine, the Midwest's popular and highly regarded outdoor celebration of the arts is returning to downtown Rockford!
The Rockford Area Arts Council presents Beattie Is... a family-friendly festival that features a high-quality artist market, art demonstrations, live music, performances, and specialty food vendors. Patrons wil be entertained and delighted by a host of roaming performers as they wander the festival grounds and citizen artists of all ages are invited to participate in community art activities.
10am-11am – Opening ceremony at Beattie Park followed by an animated arts walk from Beattie Park to Festival grounds 11:00am-6:00pm – Festival at City Market Pavilion – 100 Water Street, Rockford Illinois 61107
Directions: Beattie Park - Beattie Park is at the intersection of Park Ave. and N. Main St. (IL 2) on the Rock River in downtown Rockford. From I-90 and E. State St. (US Business 20): west 6.5 miles on Business 20, which becomes one-way as Jefferson St., to N. Main St. (second street after the bridge over Rock River). Turn right on N. Main St. and go one block to Park Ave.
