Cars & Coffee presents its fourth season, held on the first Saturday of the month from April to October from 9:00 am-12:00pm in the Rockford Public School District 205 Administrative building parking lot, across the street from Katie’s Cup. There is no cost to participate or spectate. All makes and models are welcome to participate!
The Cars & Coffee monthly shows welcome all sorts of cars, from vintage to new cars. There are various car clubs from the region that are featured each month, including the British Boots & Bonnets, Caps Garage Club, Cranked Car Club, Gearheads of Northern IL/Southern WI, Gentleman’s Car Club, Illinois Camaro Club Local Enthusiasts Club, Northern Illinois Corvette Club, Old Skool Car Club, Rock Valley Mustang Club, Rockford Model T Club, Screw City Jeeps 815, Stateline Volks Folks VW Club, Stateline Challenger Club, Sports Car Club of Rockford, Volvo Club of America, and the WI Camaro Club.
In 2021, the monthly car shows had over 1,300 cars and 3,000 people at the 7 car shows. People came from as far away as Madison, Bloomington and the Chicago suburbs. The Rockford Police share a K9 group and the Fire Department brings their large trucks. The RPS205 parking lots have over 500 parking spots and there are over 100 off-street parking spots around the parking lots. Joe Locke is the DJ and there are games and prizes. Katie’s Cup sells coffee and donuts. They are pet-friendly and bikes are welcome.

Started by Pastor Mike Thomas and Curt Kellerman in 2019, this will the fourth season for Cars & Coffee Rockford. Curt is the car guy who has worked in the automotive area for years. Pastor Mike is the “coffee guy” and serves on the board of Katie’s Cup Coffee bar.
