Additional Information

CULTIVATION is a new play by Connie Kuntz, with live music by Matthew Flamm, choreography by Caitlyn Baylor and Meghan Baylor, and a cast of versatile actors including Jesse Kuntz, Sharon Nesbit-Davis, Jennifer Rea, and thirteen children. CULTIVATION, through humor and intensity, explores the cults that form in the natural wilderness, the political wilderness, and the creative wilderness.

The play commemorates the 28-year anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre and features historical characters such as Mao Zedong, Confucius, Margaret Thatcher, George H. W. Bush, Mikhail Gorbachev, Bruce Li, and Soong Mei-Ling. The setting takes place in the forest and in Tiananmen Square.
