This series presents the music, arts, and culture of Rockford’s Latino community. All ages will enjoy the Mexican, Tejano, and Caribbean music in a pleasant, family-friendly environment.

August 12 Featuring: Los Ahijados del Barranco - a corrido band formed by cousins Jorge Murillo and Adrian Medrano, original from E! Barranco Zacatecas but based in Rockford. The band is also known for a unique style in the way they play the Requinto. Groupo Aries is a second-generation group with two years of experience, directly from Elgin, IL, with versatile music for all types of events. Dragones - a RAMI award-winning group playing contemporary Latin rock music Banda San Guillermo - a Chicago group that has been playing traditional brass-based banda style music for several years Inkonfundible Banda 30/30 - a Guanajuato style band from right here in Rockford!

Main St. Turn right on Montague to Pierpont and turn right. From the west: Go east on Business 20 (W. State St.) to Pierpont. Turn right and go south on Pierpont to the park. From the south: Go west on US 20 Bypass to Montague Rd. Exit north on Montague and then turn left on Pierpont.
