Additional Information

This free and family friendly event takes place in the beautiful historic site at Macktown Forest Preserve. Living History interpreters will gather in a historic encampment to visit with one another, play games and learn new skills.

The public is invited to strike up a conversation with any of the interpreters. A visit with Ben Franklin is always great! Enjoy period craft demonstrations, including rope making and blacksmithing. Visitors can also observe black powder shooting.
