Enjoy observing Reiko Takahashi, Ikenbobo Ikebana instructor, arrange Kenka, a flower offering to the Moon. Then, Professor Emeritus Kimiko Gunji will perform Kencha, a tea ceremony to serve a bowl of tea to the Moon. We will also present you a special music program while you are waiting for the moon to rise. Tea and a Tsukimi Manju (Special Sweet for the moon-viewing) will be served to you.
Ikebana arrangements created by members of the Anderson Gardens Ikebana Study Group and the Ikebana de Salon Chicago will be on display.
