Overview
Additional Information

Learn Thai fruit and vegetable carving, or “kae sa luk,” from one of Rockford’s very own artists, Lincoln Bias! Kae sa luk is a 700 year old art form practiced by chefs all over the world, and an ancient cultural treasure of Thailand. In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn basic cutting techniques and creating leaf designs in carrots and cucumbers, before moving on to their first large sized carving challenge: a giant watermelon flower! At the end of the workshop, students can take their masterpieces home for all to see!
