Honeysuckle is an invasive shrub that is wreaking havoc on our local ecosystems. While it doesn’t belong in our woods, it could have a wonderful new life as your next walking stick! This workshop will provide all the tools and training you need to whittle, paint, sand, string, or even bedazzle your honeysuckle walking sticks. Nature Educator Ellen Rathbone will be there to facilitate your creativity and teach you something along the way!

Fee: $10 members/ $15 non-members. Register by 02/17.

Severson Dells Nature Center - 8786 Montague Rd., Rockford, IL 61102 - From Bypass 20 south of Rockford, take the Montague Road exit. Turn southwest on Montague Road and continue approximately four miles, past Meridian Road, to the second left after passing Weldon Road.
