Hope & Anchor Comedy Night

Overview
Additional Information

Host Suzi Z. (Zdankiewicz) is an up n comer in the wonderful comedy world. In the time she has being doing comedy she has come along way. From hitting up open mics and being booked for shows in Chicago as the suburbs she is the resident host of FATS PRODUCTIONS presents: monthly showcase at Pig Minds Brewing Co. At the end of the summer she had the honor of being asked to Host the comedy showcase which headlined America's Got Talent star, Tom Cotter. Suzi's comedy will let you get to know Suzi, her life observations to whacky relationship antidotes that she has to offer.

Guest Feature Kevin Haas is a full-time journalist that hails from Rockford Illinois. When he's not in the News Tower reporting the finest stories to the public, he's at home thinking of all the weird stuff in his head and his many obervations to say to strangers. Kevin can be seen in bars and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.

Feature Bill Bullock has been performing all over Chicago and beyond for over 6 years. Bill's brand of comedy revolves around raucous, confessional, and personal (sometimes very personal) storytelling. Mix that with a neurotic self-awareness and an extremely opinionated wit, and you have a comic who can appeal to all types of audiences. He has been accepted into the Arch City Comedy Festival in Columbus, OH, Gilda's Laugh Fest in Grand Rapids, MI, and The Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival. He has headlined the Drop Comedy Club in South Bend, IN, and has opened for Myq Kaplan, Stewart Huff, and hosted the recording Shane Mauss' latest special. Bill was named "Best Comedian in Logan Square 2015" by LoganSquarist.com. Bill made his television debut on WCIU’s “Chicago’s One Night Stand-up” first airing in April 2016. Bill will also be a featured performer in the second season of Netflix original show “Easy” in 2017.

Headliner Jason Earl Folks is not going to be okay. Sure, he escaped the mean streets of Laurel, Maryland, to become a beloved and signature voice in the Chicago stand-up scene. That makes sense. His stage presence is hypnotizing, like watching a manic streetside preacher whom you can't help but feel is right about everything but his lifestyle of partying, tracking down Bigfoot, and drinking soup directly from the can is simply baffling. He is not afraid of anything, and he is here for you to learn from the beatings he has received in that process. He is Jason Earl Folks and you should be, too.
