The Paranormal Conference will feature speakers and vendors from all aspects of the paranormal. Steve Litteral from Tinker Swiss Cottage and Kathi Kresol from Haunted Rockford Paranormal Events are hosting the Illinois conference again in 2017. The doors will open at 10:30 a.m. to allow guests to visit with the many vendors.
Headline Speaker for 2017 will be Paranormal Researcher Scotty Roberts. World traveler, historian, theologian, researcher, illustrator, publisher and student of Egyptology, Scotty Roberts will be sharing his most interesting tales of strange happenings in Eqypt. Scotty is the founder and publisher of Intrepid Magazine, a journal eclectically focused on science, culture, politics, ufology, archaeology, unexplained phenomena, alternative theory and world mysteries. Scotty co-hosts The Intrepid Radio Program with John Ward.
Also Speaking at the Conference in 2017: Film maker and serial killer researcher, John Borowski will be back by popular demand, as will renowned ghost investigator Dale Kaczmarek from Ghost Research Society who will present evidence from his most exciting recent investigations. Allison Jornlin, a new presenter to this year's Illinois Paranormal Conference, will be talking about her research into the strange stories of Milwaukee's history.
Other speakers include newcomer Lisa Van Kirk, host of the Madison Ghost walks; Travis Dahlhauser and Chad Glovier from the Greater Rockford Apparition and Ghost Group; and Randy Sundby and Cindy Heinen, of Society for Anomalous Studies, a local Paranormal investigation team who has captured very interesting evidence from local historic buildings. The conference is a great place to speak to people active in the paranormal. Directions: Veterans Memorial Hall - 211 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61101 - From I-90 and E. State St. (US Business 20): west 6.5 miles on Business 20, which becomes one-way as Jefferson St., to Wyman (first street after the bridge over Rock River). Turn left (south) on Wyman to Mulberry. From I-39: west on US 20 Bypass to IL 2 (S. Main). Go north on IL 2 to the downtown area. Park in lots at Wyman and Mulberry or along the Rock River behind the Rockford Public Library across Wyman. Entrances to Memorial Hall are on Wyman and on N. Main. Free parking in the lot on the south side at Mulberry and Wyman.
