FREE NATURE PROGRAM SESSIONS CONTINUE AT ATWOOD PARK-- Rockford Park District's Atwood Center invites all ages to experience In the Outdoors presented by Rock River Disposal, a series of free in-person activities held select Saturdays through September 18, 2021, rain or shine, at 334-acre Seth B. Atwood Park, 2685 New Milford School Rd., Rockford, IL. Bring the entire family for a few hours of fun experiencing and learning about nature and aspects of the park through the variety of two-hour outdoor programs. The next three sessions are scheduled as follows:
May 15, 2021,1-3 pm: Wondrous Wildflowers - Take a guided hike to learn about the variety of wildflowers growing in the multiple ecosystems of Atwood Park. Feel free to bring a field guide or identification key to help identify species.

Safety has been and will continue to be a top priority for the Rockford Park District.
