Host Kevin Haas is a full-time journalist that hails from Rockford Illinois. When he's not in the News Tower, he's at home thinking of weird stuff to say to strangers. Kevin can be seen in bars and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.
Feature Charlie Kojis has been performing standup comedy in Madison since 2014, during which time he has been described as “this generation’s Charlie Kojis.” Combining his life experiences and general fears, Charlie blends traditional joke telling with his own personal narrative. His dry delivery leaves audiences both laughing and wondering if he is as ok as he pretends to be. Charlie performs throughout the Midwest and has opened for headliners including Kyle Kinane, Gary Gulman, and Michael Che. He was the winner of Madison's Funniest Comic 2016.
Headliner J Tyler Menz is one sweet pickle. Tyler's humor draws on his experiences as an elementary school teacher, stories about his family, and his deep contempt of how painfully white he is. He has worked with a wide range of comedians, including Darryl Lenox, Neil Hamburger, and Andy Kindler, and has toured as the featured act for Christopher Titus, Todd Barry, and Steve-O (which was cool because they have matching tattoos). In addition to performing stand up, Tyler produces and hosts many shows in the Milwaukee area including The Goodnight Milwaukee Show (sketch), Voyager (improv), and the Visitors Guide to Springfield podcast. He has also been seen performing at The Milwaukee Comedy Fest, Van’s Warped Tour, The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, The Cream City Comedy Festival, and Gilda’s Laughfest. Tyler enjoys kale, farmers markets, his 1997 Hyundai Sonata, and reassuring people that he isn't a snitch. Seriously guys, he is not a snitch.
