Pipe Organs of Downtown Rockford is an organ walk - a concert at several different downtown Rockford locations where the audience will walk from one concert venue to the next. Free Admission!

1:30 – 2:00  Concert at Court Street United Methodist Church – Andrew Merzenich, organist
Walk to Second/First Church
2:15 – 2:45  Concert at Second/First Church – Valerie Blair, organist
Walk to Emmanuel Episcopal Church
3:00 – 3:30  Concert at Emmanuel Episcopal Church – Wayne Hatwich, organist
Walk to Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center (MPAC)
3:45 – 4:15  Concert at Mendelssohn Hall – Gregory Gyllsdorff & Rachel Schmitt, organists

This is a rare opportunity to hear 4 pipe organs and 5 performers in one afternoon, and enjoy a Sunday afternoon walk! There is no admission charge. This educational and entertaining event is sponsored by the MPAC Education Commission.
