Volunteers throughout Winnebago County will be collecting field data in 2018 as Citizen Scientists contributing to our collective understanding of the state of nature today and in the future. And you can be a citizen scientist, too! Initial orientation to the program, including reports of results from the 2017 monitoring season, will be delivered at the Citizen Science Spotlight session on January 20. Subsequent weeks will feature recruitment and training for various taxa slated for study in 2018. See schedule below for additional details; if any of these opportunities pique your curiosity, you are welcome to register or contact Greg Rajsky for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org or 815-335-2915.
