Host Kevin Haas is a full-time journalist that hails from the great mighty city of Rockford Illinois. When he's not in the News Tower, he's at home thinking of weird stuff to say to strangers. Kevin can be seen in bars and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.
Guest Feature Jamie Martin is a local comedy "Jobber" and open mic vagabond you may have seen around the stateline area. Aside from being his Mothers favorite comedian his quick wits and dynamic play on words will leave you in a state of laughter and disbelief.
Main Feature Christopher Schmidt is a devout joke writer who never resists an opportunity to play with words, Christopher Schmidt can often be found loitering at the intersection of Cleverness St. and Stupidity Ave. With a midwestern charm painfully acquired through years of social cue mimicry, Chris delivers absurdly twisted narratives about his experiences as a professional educator and obsessive wrestling fan; this is the closest he’s ever come to using his creative writing degree. Mr. Schmidt is the weekly host of Milwaukee’s long running Duck and Cover Comedy Hour, producer of the StandPoint comedy showcase, and has opened for comics such as Nick Vatterott and Ben Kronberg.
Main Feature J Tyler Menz is one sweet pickle. Tyler's humor draws on his experiences as an elementary school teacher, stories about his family, and his deep contempt of how painfully white he is. He has worked with a wide range of comedians, including Darryl Lenox, Neil Hamburger, and Andy Kindler, and has toured as the featured act for Christopher Titus, Todd Barry, and Steve-O (which was cool because they have matching tattoos). In addition to performing stand up, Tyler produces and hosts many shows in the Milwaukee area including The Goodnight Milwaukee Show (sketch), Voyager (improv), and the Visitors Guide to Springfield podcast. He has also been seen performing at The Milwaukee Comedy Fest, Van’s Warped Tour, The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, The Cream City Comedy Festival, and Gilda’s Laughfest. Tyler enjoys kale, farmers markets, his 1997 Hyundai Sonata, and reassuring people that he isn't a snitch. Seriously guys, he is not a snitch.
