The Detour Comedy Night

Overview
Additional Information

Show starts at 8pm - arrive early for seating

Host Tony Lisowski is an up and comer in the Chicago suburban comedy scene. He has performed all across the country, from open mics in St Charles, Illinois, to comedy showcases in ...St Charles, Illinois. You'll find his out of the box commentary on fatherhood and pop culture to be both relatable and ridiculous.

Guest Feature Lisa Whitcomb is a 30 year veteran of marriage serving under just one commander that entire time. Together she and the Colonel have served 10 parenting missions. Their recruits range in age from 17-37 and are all adopted. The early battle days were crazy with 5 in diapers at the same time. But, those missions seemed likes child’s play compared to the time in the trenches with 6 teens at the same time. As you can image the craziness of this life combined with how she escaped the barracks have fueled her comedy and provided her with lots of tales to tell. Come along on an adventure to hear all about her battle scars and service as she reminds you life’s better when you find the funny.

Main Feature Daryll Schmitz is a comic that doesn’t hide the embarrassing qualities and moments that make him who he is. Born and raised on the mean streets of small town Wisconsin, he’s quickly acclimated himself to the quiet life of Chicago. Daryll is a graduate of The World Famous Second City Training Center. He is a Producer of Verified Laughs, a weekly show at the Laugh Factory, wrote a popular sketch show at The Second City, and will be a featured comic at this year's Cream City Comedy Festival in Milwaukee as well as the Paul Bunyan Comedy Fest in Michigan. Within the last year, Daryll has performed in clubs throughout the country including Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, St. Louis, and The World Famous Comedy Story in Los Angeles. He recently opened for Barstool’s Francis Ellis.

Headliner Sarah Perry is a Chicago-based comedian/writer whose fearless delivery and subject matter is highly relatable and resoundingly funny. Sarah graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2015 with a degree in Comedy Writing and Performance and has also completed The Comedy Studies program and The Conservatory at The Second City, as well as the improv program at iO Theatre. She has produced multiple successful shows in Chicago including the Laugh Factory's Drink Date Laugh on Fridays and her very own creation: Boy/Girl Sleepover. Sarah has also recently lent her writing and acting chops to WGN's Man Of The People, a late night show hosted by Pat Tomasulo. She has opened up for Chris Redd (SNL, Popstar), Colin Kane (The Wedding Ringer), Jeremy Piven (Entourage), Esther Povitsky (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and will be performing in The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, GA in May 2019.
