The fabulous singing, smooth stepping and flawless presentation that have made The Temptations a staple of American style for more than 50 years coming to Rockford for a concert filled with flair, flash and class.
The soulful sound that started it all began in 1960 with a song written and produced by Smokey Robinson called “The Way You Do the Things You Do.” An avalanche of Top Ten hits followed, kicked off with what became the Temptations’ signature song, a number one R&B and pop hit called “My Girl.”
Over the years, the Temptations lineup has changed but the voices, the dancing and the colorful suits have maintained a legacy of pure magic. The current lineup of Terry Weeks, Larry Braggs, Ron Tyson, and Willie Green join Temptations original Otis Williams as the supergroup continues to give concert-goers across the country night after night of uplifting, room-rocking Motown celebrations.
