The tea ceremony will be hosted in Anderson Japanese Gardens' 16th century Sukiya style Guest House. To follow proper Tea Ceremony etiquette, participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tea ceremony and wear white socks. Shoes are not allowed to be worn in the Guest House.

Kimiko Gunji, Professor Emeritus of Japanese Traditional Arts and Culture and the former Director of Japan House at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, will be the host of these events.
