I was the captain of the Rockford National Broomball Traveling Team—not broomball as you might know it, but the kind that breaks bones.

I was only 3 months old when we moved here. It has changed a lot. I can tell you looking back that while it seemed once a place that always stayed the same, today I would say, “If you think you like Rockford now, give it time. You will probably like it more the longer you are here.”
