GFNY is coming to Rockford! 

August 6, 2023 cyclists will gear up and head out on the racecourse. The competitive long distance of GFNY Rockford is 94 miles long with 3583 ft. of climbing and the non competitive distance is 60 miles with 2326 ft. of climbing. The course begins at the Venetian Club in Rockford and makes its way north through the rolling hills towards Durand and Lake Summerset then over towards South Beloit and Rockton before returning back down to Rockford. The course will be ideal for strong riders looking for a challenge during peak summer season.

Enjoy the scenic nature of Northern Illinois and bike past Nygren Wetland Preserve, Williams Tree Farm, The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms, Colors Sands Bluff Nature Preserve, Ferguson Forest Preserve and across and along the Pecatonica, Sugar and Rock Rivers.
