Sculptures

CRE8IV: Transformational Art is a community-building, public art program and is part of RACVB's placemaking and beautification efforts. CRE8IV projects include professional murals and sculptures designed to enrich the region and provide access to art for our residents and visitors.

CRE8IV sculptures first started in 2014 with a lease of five sculptures from two prominent artists. When the pieces left in 2017, their absence was noticed by the community. In 2018, the program grew to include ten pieces, each being on lease for two years. To date, fifteen total pieces are on display. Several have been added to the GoRockford permanent collection and others are on lease and will be replaced every two years. CRE8IV sculptures rely on sponsors and donors to bring this unique art to the community.
