STROLL ON STATE PARADE

In early years, the Merry & Bright Stroll on State Holiday Parade started out featuring a few horse & wagons and Santa Claus leading up to the tree lighting. However, starting in year 5, the parade was super-sized! Stroll on State’s Holiday Parade, sponsored by The Power Connection - IBEW 364 & NECA, features festive floats, high-flying balloons, dancing characters and music! It is an event not to be missed!

Year 12 is no exception! The 2024 Stroll on State Holiday Parade will feature 9 larger-than-life balloons, including a surprise new custom-made Rockford-themed balloon, sponsored by Hard Rock Rockford. Additional balloon sponsors include HolmstromNKennedy and Mercyhealth. The parade will kick off the event at 2 p.m., lineup for spectators can begin at 1 p.m.

This application will only be accepted if completed and submitted via email or mail. Each vendor will be selected through a committee approval process. YOUR SUBMISSION DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SPACE WILL BE OFFERED.

Please make checks payable to "Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau".

Entrants will be notified of application status via phone or email.

All participants approve of video and photos taken of the parade.

All float entries must submit this parade application along with a diagram of the float by November 4, 2024.
