What: GoRockford and The Cherry Bowl are pleased to welcome back the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) for the 2026 IHSA Girls Bowling State Finals. The event will feature 24 teams competing for the championship, with over 800 spectators expected to attend. The tournament is projected to have an economic impact of $172,216 and will bring approximately 400 hotel room nights. 

Each participating team consists of eight female bowlers. Harlem High School Senior Ashlin Teves is competing and she recently scored a record for the highest average in the Illinois State High School Bowling and finished 2nd overall at last year’s competition. 

When:  Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21
Games will begin at 9 a.m. on both days.

Other:  Admission is $11 per day for advance tickets and $15 at the door for spectators.
