CRE8IV
CRE8IV (pronounced "Creative") is a community-building, arts-infused initiative launched in 2019 as part of GoRockford's placemaking and public art efforts. Designed to enhance the region for residents and visitors, CRE8IV has grown to include 59 mural projects and 33 sculptures, transforming spaces into vibrant works of art and strengthening neighborhood identity. Rock River Public Art Walk
Enjoy an impressive collection of public art while also getting the benefits of refreshing outdoor exercise by taking the two-mile self-guided Art Walk along the Rock River, which launches from Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens. Along this scenic route, you’ll discover many of Rockford’s most recognizable sculptures, including the playful Rockmen Guardians and the iconic Symbol by Alexander Liberman. Together with other works, these installations create a unique open-air gallery that reflects the city’s creativity and cultural spirit.
