Farmers Markets

Getting local produce and hand-made goods is easy in the Rockford region!

Edgebrook Farmers Market - Local farmers market located at Edgebrook on Wednesdays (May - October) offering the highest quality vegetables, fruits, flowers, baked goods, sweet treats, jams, and more.

Forest City Farmers Market/Colonial Village - Forest City Church sponsors a weekly farmers market in their parking lot every Friday (May - October). 

North End City Market - Located at the southeast corner of the intersection of North Main and Auburn Streets on Saturday mornings (May - October).

Rockford City Market - Local growers and vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, and prepared foods, as well as artisans with unique offerings (Friday nights May - September). 

Rockford Midtown Market - Encourages a community gathering for ethnic food, farm produce, coffee drinks, kids activities, music and crafts (Saturdays June - September). 

Rockton River Market - Comfortable atmosphere to shop for handmade items, fruits and vegetables every Wednesday evening from June - August.

Live Music

Get ready to experience live music every day this summer in the Rockford region! From scenic garden performances to lively community concerts, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss the Woodspring Summer Concert Series at Klehm Arboretum, where music meets nature in a beautiful outdoor setting. Enjoy Music in the Park at the  Sinnissippi Park Music Shell, a beloved tradition bringing diverse performances to the iconic band shell. Head to the new Unity Pavilion at Levings Lake Park for Live at Levings, featuring incredible local talent and community vibes. Tuesday Evenings in the Gardens at Anderson Japanese Gardens offer a serene backdrop for relaxing summer sounds. And just a short drive away, the Rockton River Market combines fresh produce, local vendors, and live music every Wednesday evening in charming downtown Rockton.
