Rockford, IL – The GoRockford team is excited to welcome Team Illinois to the Rockford region for the Fall Lacrosse Invitational and Showcase. The top Midwest Lacrosse teams will compete this Saturday, October 26 – Sunday, October 27 at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park, Illinois. This elite event offers athletes a unique opportunity to showcase their talents in front of over 60 college coaches.

The influx of athletes, coaches and attendees is projected to generate a significant economic impact of $755,000 and approximately 800 hotel rooms, greatly benefiting local area businesses.

There will be approximately 7,000 attendees each day with over 150 teams traveling here from around the Midwest including, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri. The invitational features boys’ and girls’ teams, with players ranging from 6 to 18 years old. Teams such as Yeti Lacrosse, East Avenue Lacrosse, Steelhead Lacrosse, Second City Lacrosse, Chicago Elite Lacrosse are among the top talent competing.
