Visitors to spend an estimated $97,300 in the region

The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (RACVB) proudly welcomes the 2021 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women’s Golf Championship to the Rockford region October 1 - 3, 2021. Approximately 200 golfers, coaches/administrators and fans are expected to compete or be in attendance this weekend at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, IL. This is an opportunity for media to take video and photos of this elite sports tournament with visitors projected to spend an estimated $97,300 while visiting the Rockford region.
This is the first time the NACC Collegiate Division III Championship will take place in the region. The decision host in Rockford was made based on proximity to golfers, the caliber of the golf course and pricing.

Friday, October 1, 2021, 9:00 a.m. (Teams 1-6 off No. 1; Teams 7-11 off No. 10)
Saturday, October 2, 2021, 9:00 a.m. (Teams 1-6 off No. 1; Teams 7-11 off No. 10)
Sunday, October 3, 2021, 9:00 a.m. (Teams 1-6 off No. 1; Teams 7-11 shotgun off Back 9)

Aldeen Golf Club, 1902 Reid Farm Road, Rockford, IL 61107
Why:
The NACC consists of 14 private colleges and universities from the shared-border states of Illinois and Wisconsin, all of which are NACC Division III members. Rockford University competes in the NACC. The Championship held this weekend in the Rockford region is the conference's automatic qualifier in the 2022 NACC Division III Championship.
