Calling all sports enthusiasts! Icehogs games are the perfect way to spend a day in the winter! There are several home games during the winter months. The team’s regular season concludes in April, so there are plenty of opportunities to see the Hogs in action. Games are made even more exciting with different theme nights, specials, and celebrations.

Go on a Goat Hike at Gretta's Goats
Getting outdoors in the winter is great, and experiencing a truly unique type of outdoor recreation is even better! A short drive from Rockford in Pecatonica, you'll find Gretta's Goats. It is a woman owned farm that specialized in locally made products, gorgeous land, furry friends, and more. You can go on a hike accompanied by the farm's adorable goats. There are multiple dates that Goat Hikes will be held this winter.
Hit the Rink
Emulate that main character energy by lacing up some skates this winter! Carlson Ice Arena hosts Frosty Fridays every week from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Through May, guests can enjoy an ice skating session for $10 per person. Nicholas Conservatory provides an opportunity to skate outside. Weather permitting, the Eclipse Lagoon is open for skating or hockey. These are both great ways to get active during the cold months.
