Katie’s Cup is a bookstore for all the coffee lovers out there. The Novel Spot
Located just 20 minutes from Rockford, The Novel Spot is settled in the heart of downtown Pecatonica. This quaint little bookstore has all there is to offer: a monthly book club, friendly and knowledgeable staff, local authors, a kid’s book and activity room, and a shop dog (please ask before you pet!). They have an incredibly cozy interior to sit and enjoy a great book along with an exterior straight out of a Hallmark movie. Inkwell has both new and used books, but also offers tons of other merchandise as well, including clothing, gifts, and other goodies. Inkwell has several places to spend an afternoon reading or completing a fun craft, and it’s a place you can get lost in for hours. This cozy bookstore is absolutely worth a trip to Rockton on its own, but there are so many fun places to visit in the surrounding area as well!
