Old Settlers Days in Rockton

Old Settlers Days (Rockton, IL - June 18-21)

Held at Settlers Park just outside Rockford, Old Settlers Days features four days of live music across multiple stages, plus carnival rides and classic festival food.

Juneteenth Celebration (June 19 – Rockford, IL)

Hosted at the Sinnissippi Park Music Shell, this is Illinois’ longest-running Juneteenth celebration, now in its 35th year. Organized by Tommy Meeks, the event blends music, culture, and community. This year’s featured act is legendary funk band Cameo, known for hits like “Word Up!” and “Candy.” The concert begins at 8 PM at Hard Rock Live (7801 E. State St.), closing out one of Illinois’ longest-running Juneteenth celebrations
