Historic Neighborhood - North End Square

This neighborhood gives meaning to "A man's home is his castle." Starting in the early 1890's the area was settled by working-class citizens. Today's residences reflect decades of doting by homeowners taking meticulous care of their "castles" -- for them, the most significant part of their estates. That tradition continues. The neighborhood features great diversity of residence styles -- cottages, bungalows, Dutch colonials -- ranging in age from 80 to over 100 years. The neighborhood also includes a thriving business district sprinkled with quaint shops, cafes, restaurants and grocers.
