Olson Lake Beach

Olson Lake is the swimming lake at Rock Cut State Park. It is 60 acres.

You can enjoy a day at the beach swimming, playing volleyball or kayaking. Olson Lake Beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day noon to 7pm when weather is permitting. It will be closed during storms or high winds. Please call ahead to be sure the lake is open for swimming. 

Entrance fee to the beach at Olson Lake is $5 for anyone over 4 feet. For those under 4 feet, the entrance fee is $2.50 and children 3 and younger get in free. Pets are not allowed at the beach.

You can launch your own boat from the launch west of the swim beach. There is no charge, however, only hand carried boats may be used in the lake. Electric motors are allowed by no internal combustion engines are allowed on Olson Lake.

Possession and consumption of alcohol is prohibited at all times throughout the park.
