If you're a fan of vintage fashion, this spot is a must-visit. The store offers a stylish, carefully curated selection of vintage pieces that cater to modern trends—think Harley-Davidson tees, classic Carhartt, vintage Dunks, racing shirts, and even nostalgic collegiate merch. Maximum Clothing - N, 7164 Cherryvale N Blvd, Rockford, IL 61112
This is the perfect store if you're looking for trendy, current pieces and want to be sure you're getting quality items. The staff are so kind and always happy to help. It’s a resale store with a large women’s and girls’ selection, as well as its own embroidered collection. They carry racks of Lululemon, Brandy Melville, Free People, and many other well-known brands. Similar to Plato’s Closet, you can also sell your clothes here to make a little extra cash. This is one of my favorite places to shop—they always have great deals and offer a student discount.
Truly Treasured Gift n Thrift - 112 W Main St, Rockton, IL 61072
This is a cute little shop that feels like it just keeps going and going. You'll find a wide selection of home décor, jewelry, purses, hats, women’s and men’s clothing, antiques, and other unique knickknacks. With both an upstairs and downstairs, the shop offers endless little treasures to explore.
Screw City Vintage - 2019 Broadway, Rockford, IL 61104
This store offers a more elevated thrift shopping experience, with a curated selection of pieces that have been thoughtfully chosen for the shopper. From vintage jerseys and graphic tees to hats and sweatshirts, the collection leans more toward menswear—but there’s truly something for everyone.
Thrifty Boutique - 1030 Broadway, Rockford, IL 61104
This thrift store, tucked away off Broadway, offers a great selection of well-priced items. It’s surprisingly spacious, with plenty of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it easy to spend time browsing. The standout section is women’s clothing, with many pieces still brand new with tags.

A charming little store located on Main Street, offering handpicked vintage clothing. With many adorable pieces and unique collectibles, everyone can find something they’ll love.

M's Gems resale boutique - 4626 E State St, Rockford, IL 61108
This store offers everything from formal wear to fishing gear. The selection features a wide range of vintage wedding dresses, prom and formal attire, as well as jewelry and handbags that add the perfect finishing touch. On the other end, you’ll also find fishing equipment and a variety of unique home décor items. This store has something for everyone.

Eclectic Elephant is a vintage & consignment shop offering a treasure trove of gifts and one-of-a-kind finds. Their racks, shelves, and display cases blend gently used vintage pieces with newer items, making every visit feel like a mini-adventure for those hunting for something special.
