The Juneteenth Community Awards honor individuals and organizations who uplift, empower, and advance equity within the Black community and beyond. Award Categories
Entrepreneur of the Year
An outstanding new entrepreneur (1–3 years in business) who has demonstrated success while making a meaningful impact on the Black community and local economy, including contributions to workforce development, health and wellness, and economic growth.
Impactor Award
A local community group that consistently makes a positive and lasting impact on the lives of minority community members.
Juneteenth Advocate of the Year
An individual who has contributed to projects that support collaboration and advance Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity in the community.
Unsung Hero
An individual who works behind the scenes to improve the community. This award recognizes those whose efforts are often overlooked but deeply impactful.
Faith-Based Leader of the Year
A faith-based leader who is passionate about advancing a diverse community through advocacy, equity, economic mobility, wellness, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
