Contest Rules for Ultimate Winter Getaway Prize Basket

Eligibility:
This contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of GoRockford, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, as well as immediate family members and those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Prize baskets must be picked up at our office during business hours; they cannot be shipped. If you are selected as the winner you will have 30 days to pick up your prize.
Agreement to Rules:
By participating, you agree to be fully bound by these rules and affirm that you meet the eligibility requirements. You also accept GoRockford’s decisions as final and binding regarding the content of this campaign.
Campaign Period:
Entries will be accepted online starting on November 15, 2024 and ending on January 2, 2025. All entries must be received by midnight on January 2nd. Winner will be announced on January 3.
How to Enter:
Enter your name, email, and address, accept the Terms and Conditions, and click submit. Those who opt into email communications give GoRockford permission to email occasional marketing emails. Emails are not shared with a third party. Email opt in is optional.
Prize:
The grand prize winner will receive a stay at Embassy Suites in Rockford, Illinois. Additional prizes include baskets of items from local Rockford businesses. No cash or other prize substitutions are permitted. Any prize-related expenses, including federal, state, and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of the prize grants GoRockford permission to use the winner's name, likeness, and entry for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Prize cannot be resold or transferred.
Winner Selection and Notification:
The winner will be selected by a random drawing on and notified via email within five business days. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the email within thirty days. GoRockford is not responsible for notifications that are not received due to spam, junk email, or other security settings, or due to incorrect contact information provided by the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within thirty days, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
Rights Granted by You:
By entering, you grant GoRockford the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use your entry, name, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information for news, publicity, advertising, and promotional purposes without further compensation or notice, where permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability:
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless GoRockford and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage arising directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. This includes, but is not limited to, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, and electronic or human error in the promotion or processing of entries.
Disputes:
This contest is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Illinois, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. Participants agree that any disputes arising from this campaign shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Illinois.

To obtain a copy of the winner’s name or these Official Rules, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: 102 N. Main Street, Rockford, Illinois 61101. You must pick up your prize within 30 days. By participating, you affirm that you have reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules.
