These events and programs showcase intentionality in highlighting the unique and vibrant aspects of diverse cultures within our region. Events and programs that celebrate diversity are listed below.

Black History Month

Hispanic Heritage Month
As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated annually from September 15 - October 15, GoRockford is continuing to honor the histories, cultures, contributions, and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements in the United States.
Women's History Month
As part of Women's History Month, which is celebrated annually in March, GoRockford is proud to honor the achievements, contributions, and lasting influence of women throughout history. This month provides an opportunity to recognize the impact of women in shaping our community, culture, and society. Join us in celebrating the strength, leadership, and resilience of women through a variety of events and initiatives happening throughout Rockford.
