What: GoRockford and the Rockford Park District are pleased to welcome the 5th Annual Team Illinois Lacrosse Summer Invitational & Showcase to the Rockford region.
The event begins with the Individual Showcase featuring boys college atheletes, followed by the Summer Invitational Team Tournament. The tournament brings together more than 300 boys' and girls' youth, high school, and college teams from across the Midwest and beyond. Participating teams travel from Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Arizona, making this a premier Midwest regional lacrosse tournament.
The event is expected to generate an estimated $1.8 million in economic impact, attract approximately 7,500 attendees, and an estimated 1,000 hotel room nights for the Rockford region.

Why: The Team Illinois Lacrosse Summer Invitational & Showcase is the organization's largest annual event and provides athletes with the opportunity to compete against top regional competition while showcasing their skills. Team Illinois Lacrosse also hosts a Fall Invitational each year.
